B.E.A.F
Reading Incentive Program
The Bridgeport Education Assistance Foundation (BEAF) was started several years ago, with money originally funded by Bridgeport High School Alumnus, Mr. Al Scheid. This money has continued to generate funding to support and reward students in our Intermediate, Junior and Senior High School for the reading of books and successfully passing a test about the book’s content.
Fortunately, all students, grades third through twelfth have the opportunity to participate in this exciting program. These books cover a wide range of reading levels to meet and challenge the reading abilities of all students. These books are known as the Reading Incentive Books.
Below is a list of books that apply to this program, after reading any of the listed books the student will be eligible to take the test online or hand written.
