"Welcome to the home of the Bulldogs!  Thank you for visiting the Bridgeport High School website.  Bridgeport High School serves approximately 220 students from grades 9-12.  As principal, I am very excited about the opportunities for our staff and students at our new facility.  Bridgeport High School has been designated as an “Effective School” for the past two years on our State Report Card.

 Bridgeport High School offers students the opportunity to participate in 12 interscholastic teams.  We are members of the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference and the River Valley Football League.  We also offer over 12 other opportunities for students to participate in extra curricular events.

 Technology plays an important role in the world today.  Every classroom in Bridgeport High School has an interactive Smart board and a voice enhancement system for students and teachers to utilize.  We offer distance learning, a wireless lab along with two classrooms dedicated to technology learning and exploration.

 I am proud of the superior efforts of our teaching staff, support staff and the dedication and commitment of our students.  With the continued support of our parents and community members, we were able to construct a state of the art Pre-K thru 12 school facility.

 I encourage each parent/guardian to converse with their child daily about what they are learning in school.  We feel that parents/guardians are an important part of and should be involved in their student’s academic progress.  The students progress may be monitored through our web site “Progress Book” for any parent /guardian to review.
