Bridgeport Village Council recently held a Halloween "Spooky Drawing" contest for students in grades K-7. Cash prizes were awarded, by committee members, Norma Teasdale and Carole Lyle, to the top three student drawings in each grade level. All winning posters are displayed at the Brookside Dairy Queen through Halloween. Many other outstanding entries are also on display at Reisbeck's, Wendy's, Big Lots and all Bridgeport banks through Halloween. The project was coordinated by Darry Wukeson, Elementary/Middle Art Specialist. First place winners listed in the front row: Oliver Henry, 1st Grade, Cielle Finnell, Kindergarten, Izayah Beavers, Kindergarten. In the second row: Noah Kasun, 2nd Grade, Lillian Pearson, 1st Grade , Adelyn Kovacs 2nd Grade, Ava Brown 3rd Grade, Laney Masters 3rd Grade, Avri Finney, 1st Grade, Kali Woodford, Kindergarten.
