During the summer, 8th graders Emma Pittner and Connor Otte were awarded scholarships to attend the Summer Academy at Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio. They spent three weeks living on campus with students from around the state participating in in-depth study, projects, field trips and a final performance focusing on the year 1968. Emma presented a summary of their activities at a recent school board meeting.
