Another successful Alumni weekend is in the books! Events were held the weekend of June 23rd & 24th.
Festivities began with the 10th annual Alumni Social, which was held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the St. Clairsville Rec Center. Around 175 Alumni and guests attended the social. Alumni Association provided Pizza, light snacks, pop & water, and the event was BYOB. A Chinese auction & 50/50 were held, and all who made a $5 donation at the door were eligible for a door prize. 2 - $50 gift cards were awarded as door prizes. Bulldog Alum DJ Bill Talik was on hand playing everyone's favorite music. New this year was the crowning of an Alumni King and Queen. Crowned King was Richard Kurner '80, and Queen was Sandy Grimm '60. A great time was had by all in attendance!
The weekend concluded with the 139th annual Alumni Banquet from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., with 180 guests in attendance. The banquet was held at Undo's West ballroom in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Class photos were taken at 5:30 p.m. Dinner was served at 6 p.m. Classes of 1963, 1973, & 1983 celebrated their respective reunions as part of Alumni weekend. The following Alumni were inducted into the Alumni HOF - John Romanoski '44, Lloyd Grandstaff '55, and Kenneth Johnson '63. 2 members of the graduating class of 2023 received Scholarships - Emma Pitner & Jayden Ray.
Alumni weekend 2024 will be held in late June. Exact dates will be announced soon. Start making plans to attend now. Classes ending in 4 or 9, this is your classes anniversary years. Consider planning your respective reunions as part of the Annual Alumni Weekend. Go Dogs!
