Student Recognized for the Exceptional Student Award

Sean Heaton was nominated for Bridgeport's Exceptional Student of the year. His work ethic and attitude contributed to his nomination for this award.  Below is a brief description of Sean's accomplishments and the reasons he was nominated for his award.

Sean is a very hard working student.  He strives to please teachers, takes his time, and gives 110% to his work.  Even when frustrated, Sean gives his best effort.  Sean is always very kind and respectful to his peers and teachers, offering help whenever he can.  He actively participates in classroom activities, shares his thoughts, and asks poignant questions. Sean asks for help when he really needs it but always tries his very best to do things for himself.

Sean is well known for his positive attitude, lively personality, and great sense of humor.  He greets everyone with enthusiasm, tells great jokes, and makes people smile just being around him.  Sean also loves computers and donates his time to help Mr. Ferrel, Bridgeport’s Systems Administrator.  Sean dives right in, whether changing motherboards or installing software over the network.  Just ask Sean about his own new computer!

Sean truly inspires both students and staff.  Teaching him is a joy and Mr. Ferrel “could not ask for a better partner” when working on computers.  The Bridgeport School District is proud to select Sean Heaton as its winner of the 2012-2013 Exceptional Student Award.
